How to visit this farm?

From Ashahikawa Airport by car it takes about 40 minutes to reach the farm. By bus and then train it takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. By bus and train it is about 700 yen one way.

Farm Tomita – Best Place To Go In Japan

There is a 20 minutes foot walk from Nakafurano Station to the farm. If you use taxi from Nakafurano Station to reach the farm, it takes 5 minutes and costs about 800 yen.

From Sapporo it is between 6 hours and 7 hours by train and bus. Cost is between 6000 yen and 7000 yen one way without Taxi from Nakafurano Station.

Farm Tomita – Entry Fees and Address

The admission fee to enter the farm is free. There are 500 parking slots and parking is free. The farm opens at 8:30~9:00 and closes at 17:00. The farm is closed during Winter season.

When to visit Farm Tomita?

Summer is the best season to visit the farm. While you can enjoy seasonal flowers from April to September, the Lavender blooming season is between late June and early August. The best time for seeing lavender fields is in middle of July since it is the peak growth time for lavenders.

Make sure to check the weather forecast before visiting the farm. A sunny day with less to no cloud is the perfect day to enjoy the flower fields to its fullest.
