How to visit this garden?
By car from Sapporo, it takes about 3 hours to reach this garden. By train and then bus it takes about 2 and half hours. If you use train, bus and foot walk to reach the garden, it is about 5000 yen one way. From Miyama Pass you can either walk for 30 minutes or take a taxi which will take about 10 minutes to reach the garden. Taxi from the station costs about 3000 yen one way.
Shikisai No Oka – Entry Fees and Address
Entry fee to enter the garden is 500 yen for adult. For elementary and junior high school student it is 300 yen. Under 3 years it is free. Parking fee is 500 yen from July to September.
The garden opens at 9:00 and closes at 17:00 from April to October which covers the peak season. From June to September business hours is from 8:30 to 18:00. From December to February it is 9:00 to 16:00.

When to visit Shikisai No Oka?
To enjoy the site with flowers, you can visit this garden between April and October. However, peak season is from July to September when you can catch the full bloom here. To get the best experience, May or September is recommended. In Winter the rolling hills get covered with snow, you can enjoy snowmobiles and snow rafting in that time but no flowers.
